2. What personal data do We collect?

When you use the website, We collect personal data forwarded to our server by your browser for technical reasons, personal data that you make available to us via the website and personal data that We collect via Cookies (see sub-section 4. Cookies).

a) Technically necessary data

When you use the website, We collect and process technically necessary data. This includes, in particular, the following personal data:

  • Time zone difference compared to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (specific page)
  • Access status /HTTP status code
  • Respective transferred data quantity

b) Data forwarded by you

In some areas of the website, you can make personal information available to us, for example when you use the contact form. In addition, under certain circumstances you forward data to us if you make personal data available to us via the applicant portal.

Insofar as you contact us via the contact form on the website and do not wish to enter into a contract with us, We process your data to safeguard our and your legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1), point f), GDPR. In such a case, the legitimate interests consist of processing and responding to your contact enquiry.

b) Executing a contract

Insofar as you make personal information available to us via the contact form on the website, We process this to initiate a contractual relationship in accordance with Article 6(1), point b), GDPR, insofar as your contact enquiry is geared towards initiating such a contract.

Similarly, We process your personal data to execute a contract in accordance with Article 6(1), point b), GDPR, if you apply for placement, in the capacity of talent, via the website applicant portal.

c) Consent

Insofar as you have consented to receiving information from TalentOrange by e-mail when using the website contact form, We shall process your data based on such consent to send you information about TalentOrange and TalentOrange projects by e-mail. You may withdraw such consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by using the objection option in the e-mails you receive from us.

Insofar as you have granted us your consent in the consent banner, We use Cookies to analyse your behaviour on the website and, where necessary, display targeted advertising for you. The associated processing of your personal data is justified by your consent in accordance with Article 6(1), point a), GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future under sub-section 4. Cookies.

4. Cookies and other technologies

On the website We use Cookies to make your visit more attractive and facilitate certain functions. Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser and enable us to identify you as a user.

5. Etracker (without Cookies)

We use the analysis tool of etracker GmbH, Erste Brunnenstraße 1, D-20459 Hamburg, on the website to collect and analyse usage data. This is performed for the purpose of improving customisation of the website in line with users’ interests.

The tool collects information about how users behave on our website, i.e. the links and areas they interact with, the area dwell time and the pages from which users have come to our site. etracker processes and stores the collected and analysed data exclusively in Germany. Personal data such as the IP address, devices used or domain names are shortened during storage so that users can no longer be identified.

6. Forwarding data

We use a service provider with whom We have entered into an order processing contract to provide and operate the website. This service provider is straight. GmbH - Creative Inbound Marketing. The data are forwarded in encrypted form and stored exclusively in encrypted form on servers in a data centre in Germany.

Under certain circumstances, We may legally undertake to forward personal data to authorities or courts. In such case, data are forwarded in accordance with Article 6(1), point c), GDPR, to honour a corresponding legal obligation.

Data shall not be forwarded to other third parties. The data shall be saved and processed exclusively within Germany.

7. Storage period

We store data for as long as is necessary or permitted by law or is necessary to render the service you have requested or if such action has been specified via corresponding consent or until consent on which We based the processing has been withdrawn.

8. Your rights

You have a series of rights in accordance with GDPR in relation to the processing of your personal data:

  • Information about stored data (Article, 15 GDPR);
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Article, 16 GDPR);
  • Erasure of data (in accordance with the conditions of Article 17, GDPR);
  • Restriction of processing (Article 18, GDPR);
  • Data portability in accordance with Article 20 GDPR and
  • objection to the processing, insofar as this occurs to safeguard justified interests (Article 21, GDPR).

You can assert your rights via the aforementioned contact details. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint about data processing with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
