Juan Daniel is a teacher of “German as a foreign language” at our language school in Bogotá, his home town. He himself is a passionate and admirably diligent learner of foreign languages: In addition to German, he also speaks English, Spanish, French and a little Japanese.
Juan Daniel studied German Philology at the largest public university in Colombia: Universidad Nacional de Colombia. The decisive factor in his choice of subject was that he was allowed to represent Germany in a simulation of a UN negotiation (in Spanish at the time). He researched so much about Germany, its politics and history that he was determined to learn the language. After graduating, he initially joined us as a private tutor.
Wanderlust and curiosity are Juan Daniel's most important qualities. He loves traveling, taking photos, getting to know other people and trying out new dishes. Who knows where his job as a German teacher will take him!
