The ARD correspondent for Latin America, Matthias Ebert, approached us a few weeks ago. He and his colleague were interested in how we prepare young professionals from Argentina for work in Germany. The two surgical assistants Vanesa and Lovely from Buenos Aires are unable to find employment in their home country despite their good training. This is because the healthcare system there is underfunded. Now they are learning German and are hoping for a better future here.
