Three years, seven countries, one goal: In mid-September, 21 trainees from the TalentOrange Nursing School successfully passed their state exams – and with impressive results. After three years of training, they can now officially call themselves registered nurses.
The young talents came to Germany in September 2022 from Mexico, Brazil, China, India, Colombia, Morocco, and Tunisia to pursue their professional dreams. They completed the practical part of their training at Sana Klinikum Offenbach, while learning the theory at the TalentOrange Nursing Campus in Neu-Isenburg, where they could also live during the first year. Of the 21 candidates, 20 passed directly, many with excellent grades. Only one retake was necessary – and it was also successfully passed.
At the graduation ceremony on campus, attended by family, friends, and teachers, the achievement was celebrated – and one graduate even received a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, a moment everyone will remember. Almost all new nursing professionals are staying at Sana Klinikum Offenbach and are now starting their professional careers there.
Special thanks go to the nurse educators at the TalentOrange Nursing and Language School, who have supported, guided, and promoted the trainees with great dedication. “Our international trainees show every year how much motivation, discipline, and team spirit they have,” says Principal Doris Westphal.
While the graduates begin the next stage of their lives, TalentOrange is already preparing the new course: young people from various countries have again been recruited for the upcoming training year. They have already learned German up to the B2 certificate level in their home countries. These days, they are arriving in Germany to begin their nursing training at the TalentOrange Nursing Campus. However, the competition for suitable candidates is becoming increasingly challenging. “Qualified nurses are in demand worldwide. That makes it all the more important to pursue fair and sustainable ways of recruiting skilled workers,” emphasizes Dr. Tilman Frank, founder and CEO of TalentOrange GmbH.
