FAQ: The most important questions at a glance
You can apply at any time. Once we have received your documents, we will review your profile and notify you by email. When a selection process starts in your country, we will invite you to online interviews and later to in-person interviews.
Yes, the program is generally free of charge for you: from the language course to the visa and flight, and including translations and accommodation for your start in Germany—your future employer covers all costs. We work on the basis of a binding contract in which both parties assume responsibility. If you terminate the program early without a valid reason, you may therefore be obliged to reimburse certain costs (e.g., for the language course or financial support for living expenses).
Typically 12–18 months. The language course takes 7–10 months, followed by entry to Germany, recognition, and starting the job. We continue to support you until full professional recognition is granted.
No. You don’t need any prior German. However, you should have basic English skills, as part of the selection interviews will be conducted in English.
The intensive course takes place in your home country and prepares you for B2. It is very demanding and takes place full-time – including homework. Afterwards, you will get access to the professional language app for hospitals or daycare centers.
You have three months to retake parts of the exam and will continue to receive support during this time. You must pay for any retake exams yourself.
Your employer or TalentOrange will arrange your first accommodation— a dorm room, flatshare, or a small apartment. Later, you can look for your own place yourself.
You sign an official employment contract directly with your employer in Germany. You work under a collective agreement, receive a regulated salary, and have the same rights as any other professional on the team.
With your recognition successfully completed, you are officially authorised as a qualified professional. After that, many further training options are open to you – for example in intensive care, education, leadership, or practical instruction.
Yes, but this is not part of the program. You or your family must handle the formalities yourselves. We recommend that family members start learning German in advance.
Yes. You will be picked up at the airport, supported with administrative appointments, and given access to an online consultation for any questions about everyday life and work.
We prepare all documents for the German recognition authority. In Germany, you complete an adaptation qualification and later take the recognition exam – we support you all the way through to completion.
Very good. Many of our talents later take on positions of responsibility—e.g. ward manager, practice instructor, early childhood educator, or go on to start a Master’s degree.
Fair. Transparent. Human.
We follow the Employer Pays principle. This means: your language course is free of charge for you because your future employer pays for it. This applies to all our services. We only ask one thing of you: your full focus and attention on learning German. This is demanding enough, we think. Here you can find out what "fair recruitment" means:
