Work as a nurse in Germany – with a visa, professional recognition, and work permit

We are looking for you!

Do you enjoy working with older people? Does caring for seniors especially appeal to you? Geriatric care is one of the fields in Germany where there is a particularly acute shortage of skilled professionals: both nursing homes and outpatient care services are feeling the staffing shortage. For you as a nurse, this means: you have exceptionally good job prospects in Germany in the care of older people. This is because German society is ageing. Many patients come from other countries, so additional native languages are very useful. You are welcome!

Work as a nurse in Germany in long-term care with professional recognition and a permanent employment contract

This is what makes working in Germany attractive:

With our free program, you can come to Germany in a safe and reliable way. Here, you can continue your career at a long-term care facility. Requirements are good grades, strong motivation, and the willingness to focus entirely on learning German for seven to eleven months. We take care of everything else for you. You will benefit from these advantages in Germany:

  • 38.5 hours per week.
Your weekly working hours are limited. This is what the unions negotiated. That way, you have time to rest, do sports, and meet friends.
  • Good salary.
After recognition, you earn €3,600 to €3,800 gross per month. With professional experience, you can earn €4,200 to €4,500 gross per month.
  • Six weeks of vacation.
As a permanently employed Nurse, you receive 30 days of paid vacation per year. With your visa, you can easily travel around Europe or visit your family.
  • Continuing education and break times.
No one expects you to work around the clock. You can take regular breaks and attend training courses. Some are paid for by your employer, others you pay for yourself.
