Intercultural workshops enable the successful integration of international professionals.
With us, diversity becomes an asset.
Your new colleagues from abroad will soon be joining, and expectations are high. Everyone brings their own experience and perspective. To help you benefit from this diversity, we show you how to avoid intercultural misunderstandings. Our workshop is designed for teams with international skilled professionals as well as for managers.
We look at differences in working practices and communication styles. The workshops are part of our process when you Recruit skilled professionals through us. You can also book them as a standalone service. We tailor each workshop individually to the countries of origin and professional qualifications of your skilled professionals.

We address these questions in your intercultural workshop:
We provide information about the healthcare or education system in your talents’ country of origin. We explain what their academic curriculum covers and what knowledge they bring with them. We offer insights into our selection process and the language preparation we provide. We discuss questions that may arise when working with international professionals:
Did the new professional understand me?
At the beginning, speak a little more slowly and take pauses so that the new colleagues can process what has been said. Also provide the most important information in writing so they can refer back to it.
Why doesn’t she/he ask follow-up questions and always says “Yes”?
In some countries of origin, asking questions is seen as a sign of not knowing. Encourage the new colleagues to ask questions. In day-to-day work, there are no stupid questions.
Why do the new colleagues show little initiative?
In some countries of origin, it is common to wait for instructions. Make it clear how much you value proactive action by your employees and independent thinking.
What can we do to make the new colleagues*innen feel comfortable?
Change your perspective and do what you would want from your colleagues if you were working in a completely new country.
Benefit from our experience in the integration of professionals.
We use these methods:

Presentation
Using the cultural dimensions model, we explain how, for example, approaches to power, individuality, gender, uncertainty, and time differ across cultures.

Interactive exercises
Using specific situations from everyday work, we walk through how you can identify and avoid misunderstandings based on cultural differences.

Mentimeter survey
With the help of Mentimeter, the group gains an overview of the different approaches to action and opinions within the team.

Practical tips for onboarding
A few ground rules at the beginning help everyone: for example, provide important instructions in writing. Speak a little more slowly and opt for shorter sentences.
