Early Childhood Education Professionals for Daycare (Kita) and After-School Care (Hort) with B2 German, a Bachelor's degree in Education, and a Work Permit.

Are you looking for Early Childhood Educators for your daycare centers?

Monday morning, 7:00 a.m.—two sick notes from the team. Once again, you have to merge two groups and ask parents to bring their children to the Kita only in urgent cases. It doesn’t have to be that way! Recruiting Erzieher*innen from abroad is the solution. They are a real asset to your teams and to the children—thanks to a degree in early childhood education, they are highly qualified. They are familiar with European pedagogical approaches such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Fröbel and are keen to apply them. They are motivated to care for nursery and Kita children with warmth while also supporting their development. At our Language Schools, we prepare your talents so that they can speak German well from day one.

Our services.

With TalentOrange, you receive everything from a single source. We do not rely on agencies abroad to “supply” us with CVs. For us, every professional we accept into our program is a talent whom we support personally and with genuine appreciation.

We travel in person to the countries of origin and, through in-depth interviews, select the best skilled professionals for our program. The candidates must convince us both professionally and personally. Ultimately, we choose young people with a clear motivation to live in Germany long term. They want to develop professionally and personally and give their lives a new direction.

We fund a full-time intensive German course for our talents: six hours a day, five days a week. So they can fully focus on learning, we provide them with a scholarship. All teachers hold a university degree in “German as a Foreign Language”. We provide regular professional development for our teachers. We have also established close quality monitoring at our partner schools. We offer pronunciation training and, if needed, individual tutoring.

After you have issued the job offer, we either apply for the official assessment notice ("Defizitbescheid"); on that basis, we then take care of labour market approval and the visa. Alternatively, we take a shortcut and use the "Anerkennungspartnerschaft" instrument. This enables skilled professionals to enter Germany faster. They can already start onboarding while the notice is still being issued. We have had very positive experiences with this approach.

During the German course, we already begin intercultural preparation for our talents. Shortly before their arrival, we prepare the receiving teams in a workshop. If desired, we will find accommodation for your talents. We pick them up at the airport and take care of registration at the Bürgeramt, the SIM card, the bank account, and health insurance. In our online office hours, we clarify any open questions. Our alumni community also provides support. This makes the start easy.

All professionals hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in their field; some also have a Master’s degree or an additional specialization, for example in pediatric nursing. We have reviewed all qualifications to ensure that they are eligible for recognition in Germany. Immediately after receiving the hiring confirmation, we initiate the professional recognition process with the competent authority in your federal state. Of interest to healthcare employers: In Hesse, we offer knowledge test preparatory courses at our Nursing School and administer the exam.

  • Extensive online practice material (e.g., listening exercises and nursing terminology)
  • Pronunciation training exclusively with native speakers
  • Close monitoring of learning progress
  • Tutoring and repeat courses when needed
  • Conversation classes for the period between the B2 exam and entry to Germany

FAQs

We recruit healthcare professionals, among others, from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Namibia, Kenya, Morocco, Tunisia, India, Vietnam, China and Myanmar. For daycare centres (Kitas), after-school care (Hort) and youth services, primarily from Colombia, Brazil and Namibia. We continuously review additional countries – the prerequisite is that the qualification is eligible for recognition in Germany.

All professionals complete the intensive German course at B2 level. Pronunciation training and conversation practice specifically prepare them for day-to-day working life.

Yes. Specialist terminology is an integral part of the preparation. During the waiting period prior to entry, we offer additional advanced courses as needed.

These professionals have completed at least a four-year degree, extensive internships, and in some cases have professional experience. Their qualification is comparable to that of German professionals.

In an online meeting, we present you—as an employer—with suitable international skilled professionals. At this point, our talents’ language skills are at A2 or B1 level, so the conversation takes place in German. We support you throughout and, if needed, provide translation. If you wish, you can take part in one of our recruitment trips to a country of origin of our talents. There, you will have the opportunity to meet your new employees in person and get to know them in their own environment.

We take care of the entire entry process: flight booking, communication with the talents, airport pickup, and moving into the accommodation. You welcome your new employees on their first day of work.

TalentOrange supports the entire recruitment and integration process. This includes selecting suitable candidates, organizing language courses, and providing guidance throughout the recognition and visa process. In addition, we prepare both the talents and the receiving teams interculturally, organize entry into Germany, and support the search for accommodation. After arrival, we help with appointments at public authorities, insurance matters, setting up a bank account and SIM card, and provide initial on-site orientation.

International skilled professionals should not have to go into debt in order to work in Germany. All services are free of charge for them. In return, they commit to a minimum employment period of 24 months.

The costs depend on the scope, professional group, and number of skilled professionals. We will be happy to prepare an individual offer. Please contact us.

TalentOrange conducts intercultural workshops for receiving teams. These are certified as continuing professional development (up to 6 points with the Registration Office for Professional Nurses).

At least until professional recognition. Even after that, our project managers remain available to answer questions. All talents become part of our alumni community with regular meet-ups.

The duration of the recognition process depends on the professional field: In the healthcare sector, it typically takes six to nine months, and in some cases even less. In the education sector, the process can take up to twelve months depending on the federal state. TalentOrange supports the skilled professionals throughout the entire recognition process.

Our experience shows a very high retention rate: At Düsseldorf University Hospital, more than 95% of the professionals we place are still working there after five years. Departures are predominantly for personal reasons. We actively support employers with integration.
