How Yanfang Huang helps drive TalentOrange forward:
Yanfang supports our candidates from Asia. She paves their way through Germany’s administrative maze: she applies for professional recognition and visas and organizes the arrival of Asian talent at their employers. Her strength is that she never gives up—even when an administrative issue arises that seems unsolvable at first glance. Yanfang always finds a way!
Her path to TalentOrange:
Yanfang grew up in a small village in Guilin, China. Curious about Germany, she moved to Berlin immediately after completing her bachelor’s degree in German Studies at the university in Hohhot, where she worked as an au pair – and the host family is still grateful to her today. She later earned her master’s degree in “German as a Foreign Language” at Philipps-Universität Marburg. During university holidays, she taught children and teenagers at a German camp in Romania. Her strong organizational skills had already become evident before joining us: she worked for a company that arranged business trips for Chinese entrepreneurs and government representatives, as well as summer camps in Germany for Chinese school students.
Her hidden talent:
Yanfang is a passionate athlete: her favorite running route is along the River Main in Frankfurt. Her goal is to run a half marathon in Berlin. She also loves rowing. Since moving to Germany, she has enjoyed cooking Chinese food—and we’ve even had the chance to sample it at the office!
