Ulrike works as a Quality Manager in our language school. She herself has many years of experience as a German teacher abroad. Since returning to Germany, Ulrike has been advising our DaF (German as a Foreign Language) teachers on designing and improving their lessons. To do so, she observes their classes and initiates improvement measures.
Ulrike holds a Master’s degree in Ethnology and Continuing Education Management. For 35 years, she worked as a DaF teacher in various countries – from integration courses in Berlin to language courses for children in Uganda. Most recently, Ulrike taught German with great dedication and success to our talents for several years at the Goethe-Institut in Windhoek, Namibia. She still keeps in touch with many of her former students.
Ulrike loves singing. Choirs have always been part of her life and a good way to integrate into other cultures. She enjoys playful interaction in groups – whether with her family or in the classroom. Recently, Ulrike became a grandmother, so playing has taken on a whole new meaning.
