How Ulrike Beck helps move TalentOrange forward:
Ulrike works as Quality Manager at our language school. She herself has many years of experience as a German teacher abroad. Since returning to Germany, Ulrike has been advising our DaF teachers on designing and improving their lessons. To do so, she observes their classes and initiates improvement measures.
Her journey to TalentOrange:
Ulrike completed her Master’s degree in ethnology and continuing education management. For 35 years, she worked as a DaF teacher in various countries—from integration courses in Berlin to children’s language courses in Uganda. Most recently, Ulrike spent several years at the Goethe-Institut in Windhoek/Namibia, teaching German to our talents with great dedication and very successfully. Ulrike is still in contact with many of her former students today.
Her hidden talent:
Ulrike loves to sing. Choirs have always been part of her life and a great way to integrate into other cultures. She enjoys engaging with groups in a playful way—whether in the family or in the classroom. In the meantime, Ulrike has welcomed her first grandchild, giving play a whole new meaning again.
