Sandra Hartleitner
Teacher of German as a Foreign Language

How Sandra Hartleitner supports TalentOrange:
As a teacher of German as a Foreign Language, Sandy teaches our talents at our language school in Trivandrum/India. She teaches grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation to both qualified nursing professionals with a completed Bachelor’s degree and future nursing apprentices. Thanks to her many years of experience, she supports our talents particularly in preparing for the B2 exam. Her sensitive, empathetic manner helps her do so.
Her path to TalentOrange:
Sandy first completed vocational training as a legal assistant before going on to study Business Correspondence and Specialized Translation in English, with a focus on economics and politics, in Heidelberg. She also completed a distance-learning program in creative writing and a certified training course in “German as a Foreign Language” at the Goethe-Institut. As the mother of three now grown-up children, she worked for nearly 25 years as a lecturer in English at various educational institutions. Most recently, she also taught German as a Foreign Language in preparatory classes for refugees from Ukraine. Since 2021, she has been fulfilling a long-held dream by spending extended periods in India to teach German. As of 2025, she is working as a DaF teacher for TalentOrange in Trivandrum.
Her hidden talent:
Sandy loves to travel and carries with her a wealth of experiences from countries all around the globe. At the same time, she feels perfectly at home in her garden by Lake Constance, surrounded by raspberry bushes and a good book. She enjoys staying active and is determined to take a Bollywood dance class while in Trivandrum. Naturally gifted at bringing people together and organizing things, she is sociable, creative, and full of initiative.
