Sandy teaches German as a Foreign Language to our talents at our language school in Trivandrum, India. Both nursing professionals with a completed bachelor’s degree and future nursing apprentices learn grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation with her. Thanks to her many years of experience, she provides special support to our talents in preparing for the B2 exam. Her compassionate and empathetic nature helps her in this.
Sandy first completed training as a legal assistant and then studied to become a business correspondent and specialist translator in English with a focus on economics and politics in Heidelberg. She also completed a distance-learning program in literature as well as a course in “German as a Foreign Language” at the Goethe-Institut. As a mother of three now-adult children, she worked for almost 25 years as an English instructor at various educational institutions. Most recently, she also taught German as a Foreign Language in preparatory classes for refugees from Ukraine. Since 2021, she has been fulfilling a dream by traveling periodically to India to teach German. Since 2025, she has been working in Trivandrum as a DaF teacher at TalentOrange.
Sandy loves traveling and has experiences from many countries around the globe. However, she also enjoys spending time in her home garden by Lake Constance among the raspberries and a good book. She enjoys sports and is eager to take a Bollywood dance course in Trivandrum. She is skilled at bringing people together, organizing things, and is sociable and creative.
