Melanie works as a language teacher and talent manager, supporting our candidates who face particular challenges in passing the B2 language exam. She provides them with intensive preparation to ensure they are ready to begin their journey to Germany. Having spoken Spanish fluently since her school days, she knows that learning a new language requires a great deal of perseverance. Her students benefit from her patient nature. She firmly believes that dedication and motivation ultimately lead to success!
Melanie joined us directly from one of our partner language schools – the Alexander von Humboldt Institute in Medellín, Colombia. She had already fallen in love with Medellín, the "City of Eternal Spring," during a research stay for her master’s thesis. She completed her master’s degree in Cultural Encounters & Communication Studies in Denmark, after studying linguistics and Spanish in Mainz, Germany. While in Colombia, Melanie also earned a university certificate in German as a Foreign Language. She now lives in Germany again, contributing her intercultural experience and linguistic expertise to TalentOrange.
Melanie has a deep passion for Latin America. She has traveled almost all of South America with a backpack – spending seven and a half months exploring the continent solo after completing her bachelor's degree. She also enjoys learning new tricks on her inline skates and loves spending time outdoors in nature.
