How Mai Tao helps advance TalentOrange:
Mai is the Head of our language school in Vietnam. She teaches German herself and leads the teaching team. At the same time, she stays in close contact with our project management team to prepare our talents’ path to Germany as effectively as possible. She is also in touch with the universities of Medicine and Pharmacy where our talents complete their training. What makes our relationship with Mai special: we worked with her for more than ten years before she took over as Head of our school.
Her path to TalentOrange:
Mai studied German Studies in Vietnam and completed an internship at the Academic International Office of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. She then worked as a German teacher at the Vietnamese-German Center at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. For many years, Mai was a German instructor for the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Language Services in Vietnam and, as a project officer, served as the liaison between the German Armed Forces and the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence. After that, we had the opportunity to get to know Mai in her role as Head of the German Department at the Hanoi IEC language school.
Her hidden talent:
Mai loves singing, dancing, and playing handball. She is passionate about other countries and cultures, enjoys travelling, and loves getting lost in crime novels and fiction.
