How Hang Pham supports TalentOrange:
Hang Pham is a German teacher at our language school in Vietnam. In her intensive German courses, she prepares our talents for their journey to Germany. Her goal is for our professionals to be able to communicate confidently as soon as they arrive in Germany—because that is the best foundation for integration at work and in private life.
Her journey to TalentOrange:
Before Hang became a full-time German teacher, she worked for the German Development Service (DED) in Vietnam. After that, she spent almost 20 years as a radio journalist in Hanoi. In the German-language editorial team at the radio station “The Voice of Vietnam”, she translated news from Vietnamese into German on a daily basis, produced programmes, and hosted in the studio. She got to know “Deutsche Welle” in Bonn through an internship.
Alongside her main job, she was already working during this time as a German teacher at a language centre in Vietnam. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in German as a Foreign Language at Hanoi University, as well as a methodology course at the Goethe-Institut Hanoi and exam training in the German ECL language testing system.
Her hidden talent:
Hang is particularly good at cooking and swimming. She also loves reading, watching films, taking care of her plants, and travelling.
