21 young nursing professionals celebrate their graduation

Three years, seven countries, one goal: in mid-September, 21 trainees at the TalentOrange nursing school successfully passed their state exam—and with impressive results. After three years of training, they may now officially call themselves qualified nurses.

The young talents came to Germany in September 2022 from Mexico, Brazil, China, India, Colombia, Morocco and Tunisia to pursue their career dream. At Sana Klinikum Offenbach, they completed the practical part of their training, while studying the theoretical part at the TalentOrange Pflegecampus in Neu-Isenburg. They were also able to live there during their first year. Of the twenty-one candidates, twenty passed straight away, many of them with very good grades. Only one resit exam was required—and it, too, was successfully passed.

At the graduation ceremony on campus, celebrated together with family, friends and teachers, it wasn’t only the qualification that was celebrated. One of the graduates even received a marriage proposal from her boyfriend—an unforgettable moment for everyone. Almost all of the newly qualified nursing professionals will remain at Sana Klinikum Offenbach and are now starting their professional careers there.

Special thanks go to the nursing educators at the TalentOrange nursing and language school, who supported, encouraged and guided the trainees with great dedication. “Our international trainees show us year after year just how much motivation, discipline and team spirit they have,” says Head of School Doris Westphal.

While the graduates begin their next chapter in life, TalentOrange is already preparing for the new cohort: for the upcoming training year, young people from various countries have once again been recruited. They have already learned German in their home countries up to B2 certification. These days, they are arriving in Germany to start their nursing training at the TalentOrange Pflegecampus. However, competition for suitable candidates is becoming increasingly challenging. “Good nursing professionals are in demand worldwide. That makes it all the more important to pursue fair and sustainable approaches to recruiting skilled workers,” emphasizes Dr. Tilman Frank, founder and managing director of TalentOrange GmbH.
