Sweet message in a bottle found at team event in Main.

Frankfurt, September 2020: It's the little things: After a joint event among colleagues finally came about on the second Friday in September, the afterwork meeting at sunset in front of the Frankfurt skyline was not the only highlight. During the joint stand-up paddling (SUP) on the River Main, the TalentOrange team swam a messange in a bottle between the boards. The beginning of a wonderful story.

After two hours of sportive paddling, we went back to the pier of SUP-Main near the Gerbermühle. On the way, the team discovered a plastic bottle they had taken along - it obviously contained a rolled up sheet of paper.

Back at the shore the contents were inspected: An unbelievably sweet picture came to light - unicorn and Tinkerbell were emblazoned on the paper in bright colours. A few lines had also been written: "My name is Merle. I am 5 years old. Unfortunately my kindergarten is closed and I have to play a lot at home". A date and a place information revealed that Merle must have given her sweet message from Offenback, Mühlheim to the Main in March, during the Corona-conditioned lockdown. Finally she wrote: "I wish everyone good health and happiness! I hope we can all play outside together again soon!"

Unbelievable: for almost half a year, the bottle post had sailed along the Main. Now the TalentOrange team wanted to tell the little girl that her letter had been found and fished out. But she had left neither address nor phone numer. The first thought was to contact the radio. And indeed, thanks to a spontaneous call from Julia Nestle and Daniel Fischer from FFH Good Morning Hesse, Merle could be located. Thanks Merle, for this great memory!
